OUT WITH HOURS

Patients who have been admitted with chest pain of unknown origin but POSSIBLY CARDIAC may be discharged while waiting further investigation or follow up if the following criteria are met: -

Give notes with referral sheet to ED secretary who will deliver to Cardiology team to follow up within 72 hours

Within office hours bleep 6550 if advice required.
