1. Scope

This Toolkit is intended as a repository for referral guidance within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. The referral guidance is for use by GPs within the board area for referral into services within the board area. 

2. Governance and ownership

Referral guidance is subject to approval by an appropriate group.  

 

NHSGGC Clinical guidelines are developed by NHSGGC clinicians with the support of clinical governance.  The clinical guideline framework sets out how NHSGGC develops, reviews, approves and monitors clinical guidelines.  If a guideline on the clinical guideline platform is past its review date, it is currently undergoing the review process as per the clinical guideline framework

3. Disclaimer

The content of the Toolkit is specific to the Board, and it may not be applicable to other local healthcare areas or practices.
